Charging and Commercial Use Policy

Access Charges 
Bradford College students and staff have access free of charge either through timetabled classes or by prior arrangement with the Curator.
Minimal charges are made for public access to the collections. A charge is made for each visit to the Archive - £5 for Individuals with a 50% reduction for concessions.  Bradford Textile Society members also receive a 50% reduction. We charge educational/special interest groups who make an organised visit - £30 per hour for groups of 5 – 10, £50 per hour for groups of 11- 20.
In-house Curator lecture is an additional £60 per hour. For the curator to give a lecture at an external venue we charge £125 per hour plus expenses. Group visits also pay a charge that includes the cost of admission and refreshments if chosen.
Charges may be reduced or waivered for access to material, by individuals and not-for-profit organisations, for clearly identified, educational or research purposes, but this is at the discretion of the curator.
Commercial/Designers £150 per half day or £300 per full day. This does not include right to reproduce or create derivative  work. 
Digital Reproductions

Digital reproduction of samples for staff and students £1.25 per image
Digital reproduction for researchers (for personal use)    £3.00 per image
Commercial agreement for display £50 plus VAT
Commercial Opportunities
Requests to access to the Archive for reproduction or derivative outcomes e.g. merchandise production by a third party will be handled by the commercial agent/ commercial license.
